Crossfit is generally described as the performance of functional movements that are constantly varied at high intensity. 

CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. The program is designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible.  Unlike other sports, is not a specialized fitness program with a singular focus, rather Crossfit training is deliberately designed to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains.
