The workouts are challenging everyday and the people and coaches there are what make Hydraulic even better.
I was able to Deadlift over 450lbs and Clean and Jerk 275lbs for the first time in 10 years and am now reaching towards 550lbs and 325lbs.
Stop with the excuses!! prepare to sweat and do FITNESS!!
I ran a 5K, which I’m pretty sure I’d have been able to do without problem in High School, and threw up at the end. The next week, I went straight into CrossFit. I’m happy to say throwing up after working out is no longer a problem for me.
CrossFit Hydraulic is a community, not just a gym. We’re all at different places, and all have different things we’re better at then others. Having a group cheer me on who knows the same pain I’m feeling can be the extra push I need to finish that last rep when I would have given up on myself a long time ago.
CrossFit sounds like a scary beast for the elite, but everything can be scaled, and they’ll make sure you use correct form. I’m glad I’m learning the right way to lift, and when to move up in weight, rather than trying to guess on my own and hurt something. Above that, the community will give you motivation and hold you accountable, both of which are so important to keeping committed.
